The entrepreneurial group ARO® ARTLAENDER has been founded 1919 in Osnabrueck - Germany and developed itself to one of the largest German processing plants of bed feathers & down with 3 wash roads and a multiplicity of down products. Sophisticated technology, enviromentally compatible methods of production and strict quality assurance characterize the processing of the raw feathers. Up to 3000 kg of raw bed feathers are treated daily on three computer-controlled wasching and sorting lines. Washing, drying and sterilization are performed in exact accordance with the EN, JIS and ABFLO (US) directives.
From the natural raw materials, which were needed for the down comforter production, developed a mattress production, which orients itself strictly at natural, low-pollution components. OKOETEX 100 certificates for many product groups support our constant efforts for clean and natural products.
Subsidiaries in Siberia and in the Ukraine supply our German factory with high-quality raw materials. Siberian Snowgoose® down developed due to extreme cold weather to the high-end goose down and enjoys as our " Siberian Snowgoose® " down in Japan and in the USA highest appreciation. Since 2003 we added another high end goose down line to our products: Canada Dream

As a company with 85 of year old experience in bed goods production and with many decades of the membership in the IDFB (international down & feather bureau) we attach great importance to the quality of our products. Owing to a constant quality control in the our laboratory by qualified staff, we convert the natural substance down, wool and also Latex to high-quality branded articles, protecting the consumer before the climatic conditioned seasonal quality fluctuations of the raw material.
Many consumers besides our trade mark program will have become acquainted with our products, without knowing from ARO® ARTLAENDER, because the majority of our production goes to International bed goods enterprises as semifinished products.
