• The Artländer production range includes down products which have been treated so as to be washable and dryersafe. Unlike most blankets made of natural hair, the beds can be cleaned not only by dry-cleaning but also by natural washing. Mites do not eat feathers and down so even those allergic to dust can enjoy a good night's sleep in these washable down products - just as can children and the sick.

Clear, undiminished antibacterial effect even after 5 washes at 95 C and 20 hours' incubation at 37 C with staphylococcus and colli bacilla.

Washable down and feather quilts have been tested and are recommended.

Extract:

The quilts and pillows do not lose their volume. When drying in a tumble dryer, it is a good idea to reduce the temperature for the last 10 minutes (cold blower).

The test wash showed surprisingly good results for all qualities. After 10 washes at boiling.
